MULTI-INDUSTRY WATER TREATMENT EXPERIENCE

Our water treatment experience is rooted in helping clients in pharmaceutical, food and beverage, biotech, municipal waste and drinking water and swimming pool control, land contamination leachate, ozone generation, micro-electronics and PCB manufacture and power generation.

Typical applications range from pure and ultra-pure water preparation, reverse osmosis plant monitoring and control, cooling water treatment for lasers, welding robots or water from cooling towers, filter monitoring and permeate quality on desalination equipment.

PROCESS ACTUATION CENTRES

Bürkert's ongoing development in combining fieldbus technology, pneumatic valve islands, and field inputs and outputs is unparalleled. From controlling Europe's largest municipal waste water plant to a small water-for-injections skid the system is modular and extremely flexible. Our I/O partners include Rockwell, Siemens, Wago and Phoenix Contact.

FLOW AND PRESSURE CONTROL

Bürkert is a specialist in the art of transmitting and controlling flow and pressure through decentralised smart valves and sensors. These solutions range from a simple, rugged OEM product to an industrial solution.

SENSORS AND TRANSMITTERS FOR WATER QUALITY AND NEUTRALISATION

Bürkert has integrated control attributes into pH and conductivity transmitters. They conform to industry standards and are simple to use and calibrate. Smart temperature and level control loops are also easily configured. Our mass flow controllers are used in many industrial water applications.

VALVES FOR INDUSTRIAL WATER APPLICATIONS

Bürkert valves are reliable for the control of inert fluids, corrosive solvents, and chemicals or abrasive fluids such as slurries in a wide variety of application environments. We now offer ball and butterfly valves to accompany our wide range of engineered plastic diaphragm valves in PVDF, PP and PVC.

VALVES AND SENSORS FOR LIFE SCIENCE WATER PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION

Our aseptic diaphragm valves are autoclavable, sterilisable and are designed for minimal deadleg. With straight-thru, multi-port bodies, ZST-point of use valves, tank-bottom valves, and welded and block solutions we incorporate sensors and fieldbus technology to meet the most challenging sterile water requirements.

VALVE AUTOMATION AND CONTROL

To integrate valves into plant automation we seamlessly integrate position and process controllers for linear and quarter turn valves. We also offer a wide range of accessories including feedback switches, optical position indicators, manual overrides and stroke limiters as well communication via many fieldbus protocols.
