ELECTRICAL CONNECTION SOLUTIONS FOR THE WATER INDUSTRY

FIELDBUS INTERFACE DEVICES

Fieldbus Foundation (FF) and Profibus PA are open fieldbus standards (EN 50 170, IEC 1158-2) which were developed in particular for the requirements of the Process Industry, in particular remote supply and intrinsic safety. FF and PA permits the operation of several sensors and actuators on one common bus.

Fieldbus systems offer substantial benefits such as:

• Remote interrogation and programming of field devices
