The name Züllig has stood for durability and safe functioning of measuring instrument technologies for the water industry since 1913. The company's activities are focused on precise monitoring and controlling of processes in drinking water and waste water treatment plants. True to our philosophy of being "one specific provider for everything", Züllig has a broad, modern infrastructure and mechanical, electromechanical as well as electronic production facilities. The use of modern technology and extensive tests in our own laboratory ensure that the extreme demands of our customers are consistently met. The requirements for precise and consistent measurements as well as the range of applications have changed considerably over the years. One requirement, however, has not changed: technological leadership in the markets for high-quality precision instruments which analyse and measure flow rates, oxygen, suspended solids, turbidity, pH, redox and conductivity in waste water, drinking water and industrial applications. Züllig designs and manufactures the most suitable instruments to meet the extreme demands of today's markets. Well trained representatives in over 25 countries guarantee worldwide support. A decisive factor in the reliability of Züllig system components is that the individual units are manufactured at Züllig and thoroughly tested. Quality is not only living practice at Züllig but also the result of consistent production processes and testing. Last but not least, the reason for our worldwide leading position in markets for well designed, high quality instrumentation, is customised solutions for the measurement requirements of our customers. ZüLLIG SMART-PROBESZüllig smart probes (dried solids, turbidity, DO, pH, flow, level, conductivity, redox) log automatically on to one transmitter. One transmitter operates with any two smart probes. All sensor and measuring specific parameters are stored in the probe. Data is digitally transferred by one cable only over distances up to 300m. All probes are noise insensitive. Certificates for zone Ex1 applications are available or applied for. Smart probes can also be combined with Züllig sensors measuring flow, level and volume. ZüLLIG TRANSMITTERSZüllig transmitters process the signals from Züllig probes. Their high precision and easy handling as well as the large display, are the main features of these instruments. All settings can be adjusted with the use of four keys. The transmitters conform with the following communication protocols: Profibus DP Slave, Züllig Rackbus and SAIA S-Bus. MEASUREMENT IN THE WWTPSZüllig's DO and suspended solids measurement sensors are being used by hundreds of wastewater plants around the world in tough conditions with excellent results. The DO probe effectively cleans itself with a rotating diamond grindstone and enables precise and consistent readings. Therefore, efficiency and the quality of the process can be improved resulting in potentially substantial cost savings. Other advantages are: no drift, minimal maintenance costs, long calibration intervals as well as easy handling. The suspended solids probe Cosmos-25 has set new standards for applications in waste water treatment plants. The sensor is self-cleaning and assures a constant measurement quality. ZüLLIG WATER QUALITY METERING STATION (WQS)The Züllig Water Quality Measurement Station is designed for extremely precise and maintenance-free measurements of DO, turbidity, ph, redox, conductivity and temperature. All sensors are high quality Züllig probes. Accessories for collecting, transmitting and storing data compliment the measurement systems. The station is modular and can be expanded. Special designs to meet specific customer requirements are available. The unit is very compact, can easily be installed and serviced. TURBIDITY AND SUSPENDED SOLIDS MEASUREMENT COSMOS®-XLThe family of Cosmos-25 sensors measures turbidity and suspended solids in liquids. The multi-channel 90° scattered-light measurement meets DIN norm EN 27027 (ISO 7027). Its wide measurement range (0.001 to 9999 NTU) guarantees precise results whether in clear spring water or in heavy sludge or emulsions. The relevant measuring range is automatically adjusted. No calibration is necessary if used to measure turbidity. Only one point calibration has to be done in most applications in dried substances. The two piece sensor head is exchangeable and easy to be serviced. This ensures a long term and user friendly operation.
