Ultraviolet Water Disinfection Specialist Establishes Presence in China

Hanovia, a highly successful British company specialising in the manufacture of ultraviolet disinfection systems for water, wastewater, air and surface disinfection, has recently established a presence in the People's Republic of China. The company has appointed a Chinese sales manager, Peter Wang, who will be based in Shanghai.
Hanovia's products provide pure water for a wide variety of industrial sectors, including semiconductor and LCD screen production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, food and beverage processing and brewing. The company is also a specialist in treating swimming pool water.
"Hanovia is pleased to have established a presence in the People's Republic of China," commented Hanovia's managing director Craig Howarth. "Our new Shanghai office will provide many opportunities for us to contribute positively towards the rapidly growing UV disinfection market in the country and to participate in the development of the Chinese economy. Peter Wang, our new sales manager in China, has many years experience in the UV business in both China and Canada. With this experience of Western and Chinese business cultures, he provides an ideal link between our company and the Chinese market."
Mr Howarth added, "We have already won large contracts from Chinese water treatment system builders, who are very impressed not only with the quality and performance of Hanovia's products, but also with the excellent support from our Shanghai office. We are also in the process of establishing reference sites for our ultraviolet systems in both industrial and swimming pool installations. When these are established, editorial staff will be welcome to visit the sites to learn more about the technology."
