Landia designs and manufactures specialised pumping / mixing systems for a wide range of industrial and agricultural applications.

We supply a complete range of dry installed, wet well and submersible pumps for the chopping and pumping of waste materials. Our chopper pumps and mixers are used throughout the meat, fish, vegetable and other food processing industries, as well as the paper industry.

CHOPPER PUMPS

Landia's range of chopper pumps features a unique isolated knife system that provides both rotating and fixed pumping action for difficult liquids. With a knife system designed to be entirely separate from the impeller and pump casing, our chopper pumps are built for high performance. They are hard to block and highly durable.

The size and shape of the open impeller can be changed to suit the pumping situation and the nature of the chopped material. The back plate and front plate are fitted with guide traces, ensuring that dry matter particles are transported to the outlet pump and that the sealing system is protected.

Available in cast iron or stainless steel, our chopper pumps can be tailor-made for your pumping applications and can be fitted with either single or extended knife systems.

We supply:

• Motor pumps for dry installation (vertical or horizontal)
• Submersible pumps (with coupling flanges for vertical installation or adapters for existing installations)
• Long shaft motor pumps for wet well installation

Landia chopper pumps can be used in applications where traditional pumping equipment is problematic. Our chopping pumps are specially suited for use in the pumping of domestic and abattoir wastewater (including waste food, fat, paper, vegetables, bones, intestines, feathers and hair). They can also process waste oil from repair shops, fish and fish waste, paper pulp / waste, biogas plant waste (sludge, organic waste, slurry and straw) and cooling water with hard solids.

The versatility of Landia chopping pumps means they can be installed in a broad spectrum of applications, including septic sludge reception pits at wastewater plants, fish silage processing systems, paper factories, poultry slaughterhouses, storm water tanks and many others.

LANDIA MIXERS

Landia's mixers ensure that solids are effectively suspended in liquids, slurries and sludges in sewage water plants and other industrial applications. Our mixer range includes mixers with gears or direct drive and motors from 0.55kW to 18.5 kW.

The Landia Mixer POP-I is designed for use in demanding conditions and features a propeller designed for optimum flow creation and homogenisation. The propeller is supported by a sturdy gear system that guarantees maximum propeller rotation and accuracy. In addition, the Landia Mixer POP-I has a three-phase AC motor that can be supplied with a stainless steel or special surface coating for the propeller.
