SOLIDS CONTACT RECIRCULATOR CLARIFIERS

Aqua Designs supplies a high rate solids contact clarifier for use in water clarification and softening. Solids contact recirculator clarifiers are used for coagulation and clarification of water and wastewater that contain suspended solids, colour or organic impurities. It is also used for water softening (incorporating the cold lime soda process) and silica reduction in high silica containing water.

PRESSURE MEDIA FILTERS

Aqua Designs offers a full line of pressure filters to handle a wide variety of water filtration applications. These include pressure sand filters, dual media filters and multi-grade filter systems. Our pressure sand filters feature state-of-the-art distribution and collection systems for low-pressure drop operations.

IRON REMOVAL FILTERS

Aqua Designs manufactures iron removal filters for the removal of dissolved iron and turbidity from raw water. The iron removal filters utilize an ingenious combination of aeration and filtration for efficient iron removal. These systems are extremely robust and are designed to provide iron-free treated water in remote locations.

ULTRAFILTRATION SYSTEMS

We specialise in compact and skid mounted ultrafiltration systems. Aqua Designs' UF units utilize the latest generation of hollow fibre membranes. All UF units come with a standard automation package and inbuilt backwashing and cleaning systems. The UF units can be used in colloidal silica removal, reverse osmosis pre-treatment and drinking water applications.

REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS

Aqua Designs makes a standard range of industrial reverse osmosis systems for producing pure water from brackish and seawater. The plants utilize advanced spiral wound thin film composite membranes, which have high chemical resistance and offer excellent energy savings. Several automation and process monitoring options are available.

PACKAGED AND INDUSTRIAL WATER SOFTENERS

We offer manual and automatic water softeners over a wide range of capacities. Additional options include FRP, mild steel vessels and single / multiple valve options.

Our softeners utilize proven and high efficiency cation resins. Our softeners can be used in a wide range of application, including cooling water make up, low pressure boiler feed and process requirements.

PACKAGE DM PLANTS

Aqua Designs supplies package DM plants to produce low volume high purity water for laboratory, pharmaceutical and small / medium scale industrial process requirements.

INDUSTRIAL DEMINERALISERS

The company provides a wide range of custom-built demineralisers to suit clients' requirements. Aqua Designs has incorporated weak acid cation and weak base anion in DM plants to tackle high alkalinity and chloride feed. Optional automation packages with PLC based control and monitoring is also offered.

DEGASSIFIERS

Aqua Designs manufactures force draft degassifiers, which remove dissolved carbon dioxide from water. FRP based towers offer economy and corrosion-free operation.

MIXED BED DEMINERALISERS

Aqua Designs builds mixed bed demineraliser units that produce ultra pure water. Mixed units are utilized to further purify the DM water from demineraliser units. The treated water meets the high purity requirements for high pressure boilers in power plants, electronic industries and pharmaceutical requirements.
