Fluidel - Filters and Separators for Water Treatment Applications

Fluidel Srl, established in 1974, is a multi division company, specialised in manufacturing and selling filters and separators for the process industry, power stations and water treatment applications. The range includes:

• Manual strainers and filters which are simplex and duplex, single and multi basket - with filtration down to 25 microns - the filters are equipped with cartridges for finer filtration, which can retain particles with sizes to less than one micron
• Self cleaning strainers and filters
• Coalescing filters and separators to remove oils and hydrocarbons from water streams - the core of those filters and separators is the media (lamellas in addition to coalescing elements) and Fluidel can guarantee oil removal up to 5ppm
• Sand filters allow for continuous or intermittent for water filtration
• Activated carbon filters for water purification
• Reverse osmosis plants with membrane modules for drinking and process water - these are supplied complete with pumps, valves and control equipment ready to use

All Fluidel filters and separators are custom built and meet the most important international standards. Fluidel is also an ISO 9002 certified company.

FLUIDEL ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS

Fluidel Activated Carbon Filters (ACF) are based on the adsorption principle and can be used for many applications, including:

• Water purification, by trapping many organic contaminants and chemical compounds
• Amines solutions and glycol solutions purification in natural gas treatment
• Filtration of water and gases to eliminate tastes and odours, like in sewage treatment plants

Fluidel can supply ACF filters with liquid flow up to more than 1,000m³/h.

FLUIDEL FLUID MATIC FILTERS

Fluid matic filters are suitable for rough jobs, where other types of automatic filter cannot give the same result. These filters include an internal rotating basket and the heavier debris gravitates to the cone shaped bottom of the filter where it can be flushed out through a disposal line controlled by a solenoid operated flush valve. The lighter debris is collected in the basket and there are several cleaning actions available such as; jet spray, shear knife and brush.

All solids, sediments, debris etc. are collected in the bottom chamber and flushed out following a predetermined cycle. A differential pressure gauge can also control automatically the operation. These filters can be supplied, in all types of material, with filtration degree down to 50 micron and for flow rates up to 3,000m³/h and more.

FLUIDEL HYDRAPUR FILTERS

Fluidel hydrapur filters can be used for many applications in water systems including:

• Fine filtration of water with high content of solids
• Pre-filtration for membrane systems treatment of waste water
• Cooling towers water filtration
• Clarification of water containing mineral solids
• Production of drinking water

Hydrapur are typical continuous flow sand filters, fully automatic, 24 hours operation with filtration down to 50 micron. Intermittent sand filters and pressurised type sand filters are also available, with automatic backwashing control.

FLUIDEL REVERSE OSMOSIS PLANTS

Fluidel reverse osmosis plants, based on the physical behaviour of semi-permeable membranes, are supplied pre-assembled on skid, to be easily moved and transported in containers. They are fully equipped for the application including fully automatic control. Plants capacity ranges from 2.5m³/h to 40m³/h (up to 1,000m³/d or more).

Our reverse osmosis plants are used in the following applications:

• Drinking water for communities, hotels, camping etc
• Drinking and process water in industry
• Boiler feed water
• Cooling and process water in refineries
• Recycling of process water

FLUIDEL OIL WATER SEPARATORS

Fluidel oil water separators CPI series are designed to reach high performance in the oil coalescing process, using multiple corrugated parallel plates. A second stage using a coalescing element can be provided to guarantee effluent quality down to 5ppm and flow rates up to 1,200m³/h.
