Wallingford Software - Water Network Modelling Software

Wallingford Software develops network modelling and data management software to support planning and operations in water distribution, sewerage provision, river management and coastal engineering. Wallingford's flagship solution, InfoWorks, is the only integrated modelling package that spans the separate disciplines of water supply and distribution, wastewater and stormwater, and river and coastal systems.

Wallingford Software offers:

Smarter solutions - that help you work more quickly, more accurately, and equip you to meet the mounting challenges of the water industry

Innovative design - that reflects our engineering pedigree and understanding of the planning and operational demands of today's water industry

Unequalled customer support - that is renowned for its technical expertise and commitment

Commitment to future product development - that is informed and shaped by our close working relationships with our customers

Global strength - combined with local experience and technical expertise to provide products and support to meet local requirements wherever you are

The InfoWorks suite of products represents the first significant move in the industry towards a family of software that embraces the whole water cycle from supply and distribution, urban drainage and wastewater management through to river management modelling.

Each product within the InfoWorks suite is designed with precisely the same look and feel to enable users to migrate easily between the different products.

FloodWorks - REAL-TIME SIMULATION AND FORECASTING SOFTWARE

FloodWorks is a modular software package for real-time simulation and forecasting of extreme hydrological and hydraulic conditions within river basins, drainage systems and the coastal zone. Designed for operational use in the control room, FloodWorks is particularly suitable for real-time flood forecasting, warning and management for river catchments and coastal areas.

FloodWorks links real-time hydrological and meteorological time-series data sources with detailed and accurate water models to provide forecasts of water level, flood depth and sea state for the hours or days ahead.

By enabling managers and engineers to carry out fast, accurate simulation of the key elements of the future behaviour of river and channel systems, FloodWorks supports the mobilisation of emergency responses and the provision of public flood warnings.

Example applications:

  • Flood forecasting and warning
  • Reservoir, dam and other structure operation
  • Low flow prediction and warning
  • Water quality prediction and warning

InfoNet ASSET AND DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

InfoNet is an asset and data management system for water networks - water supply, water distribution, wastewater collection, sewers and storm water

For users considering a GIS or asset management solution:

InfoNet offers all the functionality of generic GIS and asset management solutions, plus the advantages of being designed with the specific needs of water and wastewater network operators in mind

For users with an existing GIS or asset management solution:

InfoNet transforms your existing GIS and asset management software into a detailed decision support system specifically designed for water and wastewater network operators.

With InfoNet you can:

  • Store, validate, review, clean, edit and analyse all water infrastructure asset data in a single database
  • Improve both planning and operational decision-making
  • Increase the value and use of spatial and asset data
  • Utilise the same user interface as InfoWorks for immediate high productivity
