WANDA 3 WATERHAMMER SOFTWAREWANDA 3 is an advanced, validated simulation software package that enables you to plan the hydraulic design of your pipeline system. Steady and transient flow conditions can be simulated including the operational control of the system. Flow capacity and velocity, flow distribution, pressure surges, pump and control valve selection and control principles are effectively and efficiently evaluated and optimised. With a balanced hydraulic design the mechanical and process engineering teams can design a fluid transportation system fulfilling optimum technical, safety and economic requirements. The WANDA simulation program is used for all types of pipeline systems such as large conveyance lines, fire fighting systems, sewage water transport systems, water distribution networks, industrial plants, oil pipelines, cooling systems, power and desalination plants, hydropower, chemical production systems and hydraulic systems for cars and aeroplanes. The program supports calculations for flow and pressure balancing, system characteristics, combined pump curves for all four quadrants, together with operational control design. HYDRAULIC FLOW LABORATORY TESTINGWL | Delft Hydraulics' reputation and decades of experience guarantee the high quality of the user-friendly and powerful WANDA 3 package. WANDA components are validated and based on physical performance testing in WL | Delft Hydraulics' hydraulic flow laboratory and/or on site testing. The program consists of three modules: WANDA Engineering for steady state and flow balancing calculations, WANDA Transient for the pressure surge analysis (waterhammer) and possible measures, and WANDA Control for the evaluation / optimisation of the operational control. WL | Delft Hydraulics' validated simulation software for hydraulic pipeline design calculations gives the user full operational control. Providing rapid solutions, the powerful user-friendly interface is enabled with copy-paste input / output functions and allows you to research open channel flow conditions for mixed flow, filling and draining operations. The modules allow the user to develop pump models that include frequency controlled pump start and stop, as well as reference document control for quality assurance. The program makes the conversion of Epanet schemes, units and languages easier to accomplish and utilises a movie player that supports AVI format and presents results as a stand-alone player.
