Amiantit - Connecting the World with its FutureThe Amiantit Group is among the leaders in the fields of pipe manufacturing and pipe technologies. It offers superior quality services to customers worldwide, providing: Pipe systems for water, sewage, gas, oil and industrial applications and expertise in the latest pipe technologies. Among others, the FLOWTITE® GRP Pipe programme is part of an extended product range with many manufacturing licensees all over the world. With more than 25 years experience in GRP materials technology and design experience for fluid handling systems, the FLOWTITE® products have established a global leadership position. FLOWTITE® PIPEFLOWTITE® GRP pipes have been installed worldwide for a diverse range of applications including:
WHAT ARE FLOWTITE® PIPES?FLOWTITE® is a Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) pipe. Immune to galvanic and electrolytic corrosion, FLOWTITE® is the ideal pipe choice for water supply systems. Its proven resistance to acidic environment found in a sanitary sewer recommends its use in wastewater applications too. In fact, for more than 25 years FLOWTITE® pipes has been the material of choice in many Middle East sewers, known to be the most aggressive in the world. WHY USE FLOWTITE® PIPES?A full range of fittings and other accessories are available, completing the FLOWTITE® programme into a full GRP system. In addition to its corrosion resistance, the lightweight and long lengths (6 and 12 metre standard) of FLOWTITE® pipes can significantly improve pipe-laying efficiencies of the installer. The smooth, non-corroding internal surface also means very favourable hydraulics. Smaller diameters, flatter slopes or less pumping energy could further reduce your projects cost. FLOWTITE® PIPE SPECIFICATIONSFLOWTITE® pipes are available in diameters from 100mm to 4000mm depending on local plant capabilities. Flexible lengths can be produced to provide you with the optimum choice for each installation; lengths in excess of 12m are also possible. FLOWTITE® material is produced in different stiffness classes and with pressure ratings ranging from 1bar (PN1) to 32bar (PN32) depending on diameter. Fibreglass pipes, owing to their excellent corrosion resistant qualities, were originally considered premium products for use in specialized industrial applications. However, today they are being increasingly recognized as the preferred option where traditional materials such as steel, ductile iron and concrete have been recently used. FLOWTITE® pipes offer low initial and long term operating costs, yielding one of the lowest life cycle cost products available in the pipe market today. FLOWTITE® pipes include the following advantages:
