WATER TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS - BUTTERFLY VALVES, BALL VALVES, GLOBE VALVES AND DIAPHRAGM VALVES

Metal and plastic diaphragm valves are one of the most widely used valve types in many areas of water and waste water technology. Butterfly valves, ball valves, globe valves and gate valves also find use in this field, depending on the application and nominal size. The GEMÜ valve applications range from the control and regulation of heavily contaminated sea and river water all the way to the production of high purity water for the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.

ASEPTIC VALVES FOR PHARMACEUTICAL, FOOD AND BIOTECH INDUSTRIES

GEMÜ is the leading European manufacturer of aseptic diaphragm valves in stainless steel, DN 4 to DN 150. The valves are autoclavable, sterilizable, and are designed for minimal deadleg. 2/2 way and multi-port bodies, T-Valves, tank valves, and valve configurations are all available. The surface finishes according to customer wishes is down to 0.25µm and electro-polished.

INDUSTRIAL VALVES - DIAPHRAGM, GLOBE AND CONTROL AND SOLENOID VALVES

For the wide area of industrial applications, GEMÜ offers a wide range of valves: diaphragm valves in plastic and metal from DN 8 to 300, globe and control valves in plastic and metal from DN 3 to DN 150, butterfly valves in plastic and metal from DN 15 to DN 2000, ball valves in plastic and stainless steel, DN 8 to DN 100, solenoid valves in plastic and metal from DN 2 to DN 50 and pilot valves in metal and plastic from DN 1

VALVES AND ACCESSORIES FOR MICROELECTRONICS

The production of semiconductors, flat screens and other microelectronic equipment requires special valves. GEMÜ offers a complete range of such valves for this industry.

CleanStar, ultra-pure valves in PFA-HP from DN 4 to DN 50 (1/4in to 2in), Pureplus, high-purity valves in PVDF-HP and PP-HP from DN 12 to DN 100 (1/2in to 4in), FlareStar, ultra pure fittings in PFA-HP from ¼in to 1¼in, HydraLine, pressure measurement devices in PFA-HP from ¼in to 1¼in and TubeStar, high-purity PFA tubing from ¼in to 1¼in.

MEASUREMENT, CONTROL AND REGULATING SYSTEMS AND VALVE INSTRUMENTATION

To integrate the valves in plant automation, GEMÜ offers electro-pneumatic position and process controllers for linear and quarter turn valves, measurement systems for flow, pressure, temperature and level indication, pilot valves, combi switchboxes and electrical position indicators, optical position indicators, manual overrides and stroke limiters, as well as products and accessories for field bus systems.

AREAS OF USE AND MEDIA FOR GEMÜ VALVES

GEMÜ valves can be used for inert, corrosive liquid and gaseous media and steam, such as clean media like high-purity water (water for injection, deionised water), highly viscous media such as slurry and foodstuff, contaminated and particulate media, solvents and chemicals, abrasive media and slurries. The working temperatures might be up to max. 600°C, the working pressures up to max. 63bar.
