Drinking Water Quality Management Plan Guidelines

The drinking water quality management plan guidelines were prepared by Queensland State's Department of Environment and Resource Management.

The information contained in the guidelines includes requirements of the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008 and related criteria including matters considered by the regulator in assessing and making a decision about the plan.

The guideline also contains a series of best practice recommendations in recognition of current practices that promote the safe supply of drinking water within the industry, which are primarily based on the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG).
