Quality Assurance Project Plan: Aquatic Plant Monitoring in Washington Lakes and Rivers

This white paper, prepared by the Washington State Department of Ecology, discusses the on-going Aquatic Plant Monitoring Program in Washington Lakes and Rivers, its objectives and how those objectives will be achieved.

The goal of the monitoring programme is to improve the management of aquatic plant populations in Washington, US, by understanding the distribution of freshwater invasive and native plant populations.

It intends to find the new populations of invasive non-native aquatic and wetland plant species in water-bodies with public boat access throughout Washington.
