Greywater Issues and Water Recycling
25 May 2010This 2010 report was sponsored by the WateReuse Association, Water Environment Federation and American Water Works Association in the US.
It has been drafted to aid the board of directors of the WateReuse Association adopt consistent greywater policies in line with the association's mission.
The objective of the report is to find out the important issues in greywater and to identify the policy implications.
The increased use of greywater in the water recycling industry has been assessed with the intent of developing a regulatory and policy framework for the use of recycled water.
The study indicates the water recycling industry will have to expand its outlook towards the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials and other groups interested in greywater issues to meet early warning trends as well.
