Tucson City and County Water Conservation

This conservation white paper was prepared at the request of the Tucson City and County's water infrastructure, supply and planning study in Arizona, US.

Managing and conserving water resources is essential to increase the productivity of water use and reach the county's larger goal of sustainability.

The study reveals the different methods of water conservation used by the Water Conservation Alliance of Southern Arizona.

The methods include use of public information, education, incentives, public policy, rates, research, evaluation and analysis, technology, industry standards, reuse, recycling and leak detection.

This study emphasises efforts to establish water efficiency, which can be implemented for consistent conservation and water related ordinances throughout the region.
