Tennessee homeowners offered water and sewer line protection programmes

American Water Resources and Nashville Metro Water Services have launched service line protection programmes for residential customers in Davidson County, as well as portions of Rutherford and Williamson Counties in Tennessee.

The programmes are aimed at educating homeowners about service line responsibility and helping to protect them from the potentially high cost of unexpected repairs to their service lines.

Metro Water Services assistant director Martha Segal said that the company is committed to customer service, and has partnered with American Water Resources to provide its customers with an affordable and easy way to protect them from unexpected service line repairs.

"Through this programme, eligible Metro Water Services homeowners will now have access to American Water Resources’ affordable protection programs, from educating homeowners about their responsibility to maintain their water and sewer lines and providing customer service to establishing a local Nashville contractor network. We’re pleased that our customers now have access to this valuable service," Segal said.

American Water Resources president Malcolm Conner said: "Through our water and sewer line protection programmes, homeowners now have the ability to help safeguard themselves from the financial demands and stress that occur when they experience a water or sewer line problem."
