H2O to Build Water Treatment Infrastructure in Canada

H2O Innovation has received a contract to design, build, install, and commission a water treatment infrastructure at the Fort Hills Project currently under development in Alberta, Canada.

Fort Hills Project is an integrated oil sands project operated by Suncor Energy Operations.

Under the $9.3m contract, H2O will commission on site a water treatment package for two membrane filtration trains including pre-treatment and post-treatment including clarifier, pumps, potable water storage tank and laboratory.

Work, to be delivered in two phases, will be complete over a period of 24 months.

The project is expected to provide potable water for 5,000 people.
