Japan to Fund Vietnamese Water Supply Project

The Japanese Government is to provide JPY10-15bn for the development of a water supply project in Vietnam.

The funds will be used to construct and manage water supply systems in Hanoi and the surrounding areas, reports VOV News.

Japan’s Metawater and Vietnam Water Supply, Sewerage and Environment Investment Construction will take part in the project.

The loan will be provided through the Japan International Cooperation Agency, which will evaluate the project.
