KOICA to improve Azerbaijan water infrastructure

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Azersu have signed an agreement to establish a water supply and sanitation system in the Absheron Peninsula, Azerbaijan.

KOICA will provide a grant of $26m for the project, reports azernewstrend.az.

The aim of the project is to improve environmental conditions by installing a water supply and sewerage system in the Kurdakhani Settlement.

Under the four-year project, KOICA will provide detailed design, construction and supervision services, as well as equipment and materials for the region’s water supply and sanitation system.
