Hamm Construction has been awarded an $11.5m contract by the City of Saskatoon to build a pipeline under the South Saskatchewan River, Canada.
The pipeline is expected to link a new $45m water intake facility with the area's water treatment plant, according to thestarphoenix.com.
The intake facility project is currently under construction on a dam outside Saskatoon. The connecting pipeline is anticipated to be complete in March 2011.
