Poland will receive a 330m-zloty ($100.4m) loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to finance a water and wastewater infrastructure modernisation programme in city of Krakow.
The project, to be delivered by Krakow's Municipal Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Company, will help Poland meet its commitments to implement EU rules.
EIB vice-president Marta Gajecka said the project would help improve the quality of life in the Polish city.
The programme involves the extension and modernisation of water production and treatment plants, the water supply network, sewage system and wastewater treatment plants in Krakow.
