Emico Water Launches New-Generation Membrane System

28 July 2010

Emico Water Technologies has launched a new generation membrane system to be used in wastewater bioreactors, providing non-clogging filtration with simple pre-screening.

NERO MBR, developed by the Canada-based company, uses flat-plate technology employing ultra-filtration plates mounted in a stainless steel sub-frame.

The system also uses non-woven PVDF / PET materials in the membrane for superior physical and chemical properties.

The MBR system has a uniform distribution of pore sizing and a non-clogging design ensuring stable filtration resistant to blockage or blinding, according to infolink.com.ou.

NERO membrane bioreactors can be used in various industries. including dairy plants, sewage treatment plants, blackwater treatment, leachate treatment, general industrial, food processing, mining and chemical plants.
