Spain Upgrades Drinking Water Treatment Station

Severn Trent Services – Apliclor has equipped the Cadalso de los Vidrios drinking water treatment station in Madrid, Spain, with a new, two-fold filtration and disinfection solution.

As part of the upgrade, the company has installed pressure filters to efficiently remove manganese and other solid particles from the water.

The company has also equipped the water treatment station with sodium hypochlorite dosing systems to purify the drinking water.

Owned by the public company Canal de Isabel II, the plant will provide potable water to 3,000 residents in the Spanish capital.
