AdEdge Water wins contract for water treatment systems to remove arsenic

11 October 2011

AdEdge Water Technologies has received a contract from Sunrise Engineering to design and build three AdEdge WaterPOD containerised water treatment systems for Spring Creek Utilities in Nevada, US.

The systems will reduce arsenic from three individual well sites, where testing revealed excessive concentrations of the substance.

Each WaterPOD will use AdEdge AD26 coagulation / filtration technology and consist of a separate, completely packaged, pre-piped, instrumented and automated system, and modular buildings with combined design flows.

AdEdge Water Technologies vice-president Greg Gilles said that the system design features green technologies that save water and will effectively remove arsenic to below the maximum contaminant level.
