Atlantium to develop new technology for reverse osmosis membrane

14 November 2011

Atlantium Technologies will work with the Israeli Government and several universities to develop a new way to sustain reverse osmosis membrane performance at desalination plants in Israel.

The project will focus on reducing bio-fouling in desalination systems through integrating basic scientific research with the application of Atlantium's UV technology.

The team will include researchers working on basic science as well as technology innovators from the industry aiming to translate innovative concepts into useful, cost-effective products.

Israel's research & development programme Magnet will provide funding to support the project.
