Bluewater Bio International has entered into an agreement with Infilco Degremont (IDI) for energy-efficient nutrient removal across North America.
Under the agreement, IDI will provide the municipal and industrial waste water treatment plants across the North America with Bluewater Bio's HYBACS wastewater treatment technology.
Bluewater Bio has supplied one of its SMART Units, which drives the HYBACS process to the demo plant supplied and designed by IDI.
The SMART Unit will provide flexibility to operate on different flows and loads at other sites in the future.
The demo plant is expected to be installed by the end of this month.
