Colombia's Ministry of Housing, City and Territory has launched three water projects worth COP200m ($100m).
The projects cover the repair and optimisation of potable water pipelines, sewerage networks and sanitation systems in the Atlántico, Tolima and Casanare departments, reports bnamericas.com.
The project will also close open-air dumps in Atlántico and build a waste transfer station in Sabanalarga.
The scope of work includes the study, design and construction of projects to guarantee the complete operation of the Cocora River potable water pipeline and the development of a flood control infrastructure on Combeima River in the city of Ibague.
