D & R Technology, a subsidiary of Ecoland International, has signed a letter of intent (LoI) with Judo Water Treatment to manufacture water treatment systems.
Under the terms of the LoI, D & R Technology has agreed to manufacture and install custom-built, advanced water treatment systems and equipment to industrial end-users in the US and Canada.
The agreement aims to manufacture Judo's more complex water treatment systems for domestic and global markets such as India, Africa, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
D&R Technology president and CEO Drasko Karanovic said: "Potential new contracts could boost our new sales above the $5 million mark and will contribute to drive revenues in the coming quarters as we execute the numerous projects in our backlog."
Judo president and CEO Kai Voigt said: "To secure contracts and resolve water condition problems for First Nations communities we need to achieve a 45% or better Canadian content.
"Each water treatment unit is site specific and requires R&D to tailor its' functionality.
"We conducted a feasibility study of building our more advanced water treatment systems here in Canada with D&R and their level of engineering expertise and manufacturing experience, insures us that there are no obstacles that would inhibit our objectives."
Judo is the North American sales and distribution centre for Judo Wasseraufbereitung, a German based company engaged in the water treatment field. The company develops, manufactures and sells equipment and complete systems for the treatment of drinking water.
D & R Technology designs, manufactures, and markets industrial and consumer products.
