Southern Seawater Alliance (SSWA) has selected Energy Recovery for the expansion of its desalination plant in Western Australia.
The company will supply its PX Pressure Exchangerä (PXä) devices to the Southern Seawater desalination plant in Binningup town.
With the use of the devices, the plant will eliminate unplanned downtime reduce the energy cost required to produce an additional 140,000m3 a day of fresh water.
On completion, the plant will provide a total of 300,000m3 a day of water for the greater Perth region.
