Evoqua acquires Delta Ultraviolet
Evoqua Water Technologies, a US-based company and its recently acquired Neptune-Benson business, has acquired Delta Ultraviolet, a Californian manufacturer of UV-C light water treatment systems.
Financial details of the transaction have not been divulged by both the companies.
Evoqua’s Neptune Benson president Ken Rodi said: “We are pleased to welcome Delta UV to the Neptune Benson and Evoqua family.
“We’re excited to add another strong UV solution to our offerings, giving our customers more choices when it comes to their water disinfection needs.”
UV-C is a multipurpose technology used for disinfecting water as well as destroying harmful micro-organisms in other liquids.
Established in 1999, Delta UV has developed a wide range of UV systems providing water treatment solutions for pool and spa applications.
The new acquisition will add Delta’s UV systems to Evoqua and Neptune Benson’s portfolio of UV solutions, including ETS-UV systems and Wallace & Tiernan brand Barrier UV products.
Bio UV CEO Benoit Gillmann said: “The teaming of Delta UV with Evoqua and Neptune Benson’s portfolio will lead to the next chapter of growth for the Delta brand. I’d like to thank the dedicated employees with whom we’ve had the privilege of working.”
Evoqua and Neptune Benson will now be offering UV solutions for a large variety of applications, ranging from municipal, industrial, recreational and residential water applications.
