FSI Energy Services has entered into a contract with a major Canadian oil firm to complete bench testing for specialised water treatment technologies and processes.
The technologies relate to oilfield water reuse, such as frac flowback water, general produced waters, SAGD, and boiler feedwater.
Currently, FSI is operating these projects through a joint venture with Waterworks Technologies.
FSI has developed packaged water treatment products and services for the oilfield sector which allow oilfield water reuse, avoid environmental concerns, and help its clients eliminate disposal costs.
These water treatment packages will allow the firm to deliver complete water treatment solutions with shorter lead times, higher cost-efficiency and highly customised equipment suited to meet the individual needs of clients.
