H2O Innovation expands distribution portfolio in Argentina, Italy, and Egypt

Piedmont Pacific and PWT, subsidiary units under Canadian membrane filtration specialist H2O Innovation, have signed new distribution agreements with three partners in Argentina, Italy, and Egypt.

Argentina-based Aquarep, which was established in 2009, will distribute Piedmont flexible couplings and PWT specialty chemicals along with its existing product offerings.

Italian company SG Projects sells valves, piping solutions, expansion joints, electric panels and SCADA systems for water, energy and oil and gas industries. The firm will act as a distribution partner for Piedmont’s flexible couplings.

Egyptian engineering, procurement and construction firm Midwater has signed the distribution agreement with PWT for its specialty chemical products.

The distribution contracts are expected to help H2O Innovation in strengthening its specialty products and services (SP&S) business line.

H2O Innovation specialty products and services vice-president Gregory Madden said: "The addition of these three new distributors further strengthens our international presence, and supports our strategy for growth of the H2O Innovation Specialty Products & Services business.

"We choose to grow with distribution partners who have complimentary industry knowledge, market access, and technical capabilities, and we believe that all three of these partnerships fit fantastically within that framework."

Earlier in the month, H2O Innovation has secured three contracts totalling $8.9m for three water treatment systems in the US states of Oregon, Texas and Virginia.

The firm has also recently completed acquiring Clearlogx control technology and its line of specialty coagulants to boost its treatment solution offerings.
