India-based wastewater treatment plant service provider Ion Exchange Services (IESL) has introduced new water and wastewater treatment services in India..

The new services are aimed to create awareness of saving water at every level, from source reduction, product reuse, waste minimisation and recycling water.

IESL's new services include remote monitoring of water treatment plants, energy saving for effluent treatment plants (ETPs) and sewage treatment plants (STPs), containerised water treatment plants on a rental basis, automation of reverse osmosis (RO) plants, automation of INDION swift units, automation of cooling tower blow down, and oxygen monitoring in sewage treatment plants.

The company said it will also increase its focus on its water audits services in future.

IESL CEO and executive director Dinesh Sadasivan said the new services in India will cater to industries and institutions across various sectors such as pharmaceuticals, breweries, food and beverages, hotels, hospitals and software technology parks.

"These service offerings will enable customers to achieve optimum utilisation of their water and wastewater treatment plants, while at the same time contributing to water conservation. IESL shall strive to continually innovate and offer new service packages for our valuable customers," Sadasivan added.

IESL's automation solution for energy saving in ETPs and STPs can be implemented in all aerobic ETPs and can save energy and directly translate into cost savings with immediate effect, the company claimed.

The company has also launched containerised water treatment plant service on rental basis for the supply of treated water to industries and institutions.
