IVRCL bags water pipeline contract in India

IVRCL has received a contract worth Rs6.91bn ($138m) for water pipelines in India from the Gujarat Water Infrastructure.

Under the five-year contract, IVRCL will provide services such as supplying, lowering, laying, jointing and commissioning of bulk water transmission mains, in addition to civil and electro mechanical works.

A pipeline measuring 2,150mm in diameter will be laid from Dudhrej PS to Navagam from Chainage, while another pipeline of 2,000mm in diameter and 14mm thick will be built from Navda to Budhel.

ICRCL has received the contract under the Swarnim Gujarat Saurashtra - Kutch Water Grid programme.
