UAE-based water management solutions provider Metito will acquire Berlinwasser International's minority stake in Berlinwasser China Holdings (BCH).
Metito will also make further investments to expand its Chinese operations.
BCH owns and operates five wastewater concession agreements in four provinces in China and provides services to over 5.3 million people in China, with a current treatment capacity of over 1.2 million cubic metres a day.
Metito has advanced plans to develop three additional new projects and expand its operations in China by actively pursuing further wastewater projects.
The firm also plans to expand BCH's portfolio to include industrial water, desalination, sludge and solid waste.
