Moltz Construction will begin the development of the $22.6m Plum Creek water purification facility in Colorado, US, next month.
The facility will have an initial treatment capacity of four million gallons per day, which can be expanded to 12 million gallons per day.
Renewable water sources include water rights on East and West Plum Creek, reclaimable water discharged to East Plum Creek, lawn irrigation return flows and future imported surface water.
Construction of the facility will be complete by March 2013.
