Phigenics shifts water testing laboratory to meet increased demand

Water management firm Phigenics has shifted its laboratory, shipping and administrative operations from Naperville to a larger space at Warrenville in Illinois.

This shift enables the firm to more than double its square footage and meet the increased demands for water testing.

Phigenics currently operates laboratories at Warrenville, as well as Fayetteville in Arizona. These labs test for Legionella in water.

Phigenics laboratory manager Lesley Leonidas said:  "Phigenics Analytical Services Laboratory is excited for this next chapter in our company. The new, larger laboratory allows us to continue to provide accurate results while growing to meet the demand of the ever-increasing market."

Both the testing laboratories are ELITE certified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and offer testing services in microbiological and chemistry aspects for all commercial, institutional and industrial water systems.

The firm intends to expand its Fayetteville laboratory this year.

The new location at Warrenville also has a research and development department.

Phigenics aims to offer quick and accurate Legionella testing service through the Phigenics Validation Test (PVT) that applies patented TimeZero test method for quantitative measurement of viable Legionella as well as total heterotrophic aerobic bacteria (THAB).
