Ramky Infrastructure wins multiple water and wastewater projects in India

India-based construction, infrastructure development and management company, Ramky Infrastructure, has won water and wastewater projects in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Orissa, and West Bengal.

The total cost of the projects is about INR3.86bn ($70.1m).

Ramky’s joint venture company has secured a contract from Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) for the construction of a water treatment plant in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The project, valued at INR1.38bn ($25.3m) will be executed for HMWSSB Krishna drinking water supply project (KDWSP) phase III.

Under the project, Ramky will design, build, erect, test, and commission a water treatment plant of 410 million litres per day (90 million gallons per day) capacity at Kondandapur at Km 116/0 of Hyderabad,Nagarjunasagar State Highway.

In the state of Karnataka, the company secured sewerage system projects worth INR1.51bn ($27.7m) from the Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board for Karnataka Municipal Reforms Project (KMRP).

Under the first project, Ramky will provide a sewerage system worth INR633.2m ($11.6m) to erstwhile Mahadevapura CMC area (Zone 3A) – Slice No.GBS-3A.

The second project involves providing a sewerage system to former Mahadevapura CMC area (Zone 3C) – Slice No.GBS-3C for INR466m ($8.5m).

The final project in Karnataka, valued at INR412.4m ($7.5m), involves providing sewerage system to erstwhile Kengeri TMC area (Zone-06) – Slice No.GBS-06.

In West Bengal, the company has secured a project valued at INR267.1m ($5m) from IRCON International.

Ramky will work on a water supply system amidst other works at an under-construction Indoor Stadium in Kolkata.
