Ridgeline Energy Services has signed a development agreement with a North American oil and gas producer to install its single train commercial installations (STCI) at an oil production facility near Wabasca-Desmarais in northern Alberta, Canada.
Ridgeline will install the STCI on site to treat the process water for the firms' re-use and recycling needs.
The site's full operating flow rates are projected to be 150,000 barrels per day of wastewater for up to 20 years.
Pre-treatment of source water for polymer hydration will also be included in the development agreement.
Ridgeline will provide the water treatment services through the Eau Claire partnership, which is a 50/50 joint venture between Dennis M Danzik and Ridgeline Energy Services.
