RWL Water secures contract from PEICo to supply mobile water treatment systems

Water solutions provider RWL Water has secured a contract from Pooled Equipment Inventory Company (PEICo) to supply sixteen skid-mounted mobile water treatment systems for an undisclosed amount.

The skid-mounted mobile water treatment systems have been designed according to the M1N aircraft container dimensions and weight limits.

This design allows the systems to be easily transported by both fixed and rotary wing aircraft, as well as by truck, said the company.

The systems have been divided into two types: 500 GPM mechanical filtration and 250 GPM brackish water reverse osmosis (BWRO) treatment.

Mobile water treatment systems can be used as standalone units or can be connected to create integrated treatment systems, depending on emergency needs.

RWL Water provides solutions for desalination, water, wastewater, waste-to-energy, recovery and reuse and food and beverage processing.

With around 7,000 sites installed in about 70 countries, the company has developed plants for industrial and municipal customers to treat complex water and wastewater effluents.

PEICo deals with common equipment and inventory-related problems in the nuclear electric utility industry.
