Brazilian water utility Saneago is planning to release a tender worth R$102m ($59.1m) to expand potable water supply service in Goiânia city by the end of the year.
The project involves the installation of six reservoirs, of which four concrete reservoirs will store 5,000m3 and two metal reservoirs will both store 2,000m3 of water ,.
The work will also include building a small metallic tank, which will hold 140m3 of water.
Other work includes construction of three potable water pumping stations and the installation of a water main pipeline, a distribution pipeline and domestic connection lines for areas surrounding Paço Provisório.
The city's ministry will provide R$98.4m ($56.2m) for the project and the remaining funds will be from Saneago, reports BNamericas.
