Converted Organics has signed an agreement with South Canyon Waste Systems (SCWS) to provide financing for an industrial wastewater project at the South Canyon Landfill in Colorado, US.
According to the agreement, SCWS will provide the remaining capital needed for the previously completed installation of the patented LM-HT wastewater concentrator, which is used to process industrial wastewater at the landfill.
The Converted Organics facility will treat septic water, wash water, process water, man-camp wastewater and wastewater from oil and gas exploration.
Converted Organics president Edward Gildea said that the agreement with SCWS demonstrates the viability of the business model and will enable the firm to undertake additional industrial wastewater projects in the future.
