Sembcorp China Holding is to sign a letter of intent with Qidong LVSI Coastal Economic Development Zone (Qidong EDZ) to form a new joint venture.
The joint venture will build, own and operate an industrial wastewater treatment plant that will have a capacity of 40,000m3 per day in the province of Jiangsu, China.
Sembcorp will hold an 80% stake in the joint venture and the remaining stake will be held by Qidong EDZ Administration Committee's wholly owned investment company.
Sembcorp Industrial Parks, a subsidiary of Sembcorp, will sign a memorandum of understanding with the New District Administrative Committee of Wuxi Municipal People's Government to expand its operations in Jiangsu province by developing new water and environmental solutions in Wuxi.
