Severn Trent Services is to provide its TETRA Denite denitrification system to the Zhang Gui Zhuang wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Tianjin, China.
Severn Trent received the contract from Anhui Genda Environ, the contractor for the project's phase I, which covers the installation of a clarifier and filter.
The TETRA Denite treatment solution will help the plant meet stringent Class IA effluent discharge standards by simultaneously removing nitrogen, phosphorus and suspended solids.
The Zhang Gui Zhuang WWTP will be located in Yao Liu Qiao County and will have a capacity to treat 200,000m3 of water per day under phase I.
