Singapore-based Sound Global has received a CNY480m ($75.3m) contract for the construction of wastewater treatment plants in China.
Under the 25-year contract, Sound Global will build and operate wastewater treatments plants in five rural towns, with a total daily treatment capacity of 13,000t.
The contract also includes the construction of regional wastewater treatment plants in the city of Jiangyan in Jiangsu province.
Construction is scheduled to take 14 months and operations will begin by late December 2012.
