STW Resources Holding has signed a memorandum of understanding with WorleyParsons Group to pursue joint business opportunities.
Under the terms of the deal, STW and WorleyParsons will partner with municipalities and companies within the energy sector to provide water treatment systems solutions.
Currently, the firms are engaged in analysing the design of a water treatment system with a municipality looking for alternative sources for water rather than traditional surface or fresh water aquifers.
STW will deliver solution services and financing for water projects.
Bob J Johnson & Associates, a full-service water treatment firm, will also collaborate with STW and WorleyParsons to create a distribution network for water reclamation solutions for a large group of potential customers.
Stanley Weiner, STW CEO, said the agreement combines WorleyParsons' engineering and project construction services expertise with STW's experience as a water treatment services and technology provider.
"By partnering with established industry leaders in engineering and manufacturing, the firm's target market base is immediately expanded," Weiner said.
"STW's ability to provide project financing and on-site management is expected to create revenue expansion opportunities for both companies."
