Stage 3 involves the construction of a 16-mile long section of tunnel. It extends from the Van Cortlandt Park Valve Chamber in the Bronx to the Kensico Reservoir in Westchester County. In Stage 4, water will be delivered to the eastern parts of the Bronx and Queens.
