The Verderhus screw-channel pump is suitable for flowable sludge, slurry and solid-laden fluids. Featuring an open, corkscrew impeller, the Verderhus is excellent for media containing long fibres and where the pump needs to be insensitive to clogging or ragging.
The impeller sits within an expanding cone so the media is dispersed within the pump, reducing the wear on the impeller significantly and making the pumping principle very robust.
