Scotland Awards Water Contract to AECOM

AECOM has secured a contract to provide strategic support to Scottish Water to implement a $4bn capital works programme over the next five years.

The programme will address Scottish Water’s capital maintenance requirements to help it provide efficient services, reduce its carbon footprint and improve Scotland’s rivers and coastal waters.

The US-based engineering group will provide business planning, treatment design, water network design, wastewater network design, water modelling, dams and reservoirs.

AECOM will also provide a range of professional services across six major Scottish Water programmes to help meet customers’ needs in a sustainable manner.
