Senepar to Invest $214m in Water and Sanitation Projects

Senepar, the water utility of Brazilian state Parana, is to invest R$355m ($214m) in drinking water and sanitation projects in 2011.

The water utility will provide R$233m ($139.7m) for sewage collection and water treatment projects and R$122m ($73m) for potable water supply projects, according to bnamericas.com.

Sewerage projects will be carried out in the municipalities of Londrina, Cascavel, Arapongas, Rolandia, Guarapuava, Apucarana, Ponta Grossa, Toledo, Almirante Tamandare and state capital Curitiba.

Drinking water projects will be carried out in Maringa, Londrina, Almirante Tamandare, Ponta Grossa, Cascavel, Apucarana, Jacarezinho, Palmas, Telemaco Borba and Curitiba.
